Our story.....so far

We're Melbourne based and founded in 2019. We’re a very small team but we’re packed full of industry knowledge, determination and technical skills.

Relatively new in the old foreign exchange game, we’ve come to shake things up!

We don't do gimmicks or promotions. We just do fair. We offer the best rates for everyone, always!

 

Why you can trust S Money

S Money complies with the relevant laws pertaining to privacy, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism finance. This means you are required to provide I.D. when you place an order. It also means the order must be paid for by the same person ordering the currency and you must show your identification again when receiving your order.

Like all reputable money exchanges, we are registered with AUSTRAC and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

We are transparent about how we make money. All our fees are clearly explained and easy to see.

I wanted to create a foreign exchange business that people actually liked.

Whilst working in banking for over 20 years, it was frustrating to see customers getting ripped off when dealing with currency. Not only that, the whole process was unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

I knew it was time for something to be done. I didn’t want the banks to get away with it anymore. 

Fuelled with a mission to make currency exchange as fair and easy as possible, I launched S Money.

Since its inception, our company has grown and has become a preferred destination currency exchange service for thousands of Aussies.

Everyday our team works to make currency exchange fast, fair and easier for you.

We also, very smartly, partner with other companies to offer store pick up and delivery so we’re not tied down by any store costs. All of this means that we can offer cheaper fees and which means you’ll get more money in your pocket!
